Freshman Alyssa Jerome was named to the final roster for the U19 Women's National Team set to compete at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2017 in Italy.
Alyssa, who is the second-youngest member of the team, is a rising star in Canada. She led her country in both scoring and rebounding at the FIBA Americas U18 Women's Championship last summer when Canada finished with a silver medal.
The team will travel to France for an exhibition tournament from July 15-17.
Then they will travel to Udine, Italy for the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2017 from July 22-30.
